By default, Panda Antivirus is configured to scan both for Windows viruses and Trojan horses as well as specific Mac viruses.
Anything that is suspicious will be removed and placed in a secure quarantine and everything that has been found and dealt with appears in a log file. Panda Antivirus for Mac auto-updates itself so that it is always up to date.
The interface is a bit odd and awkward to work with at first and users will either love or loathe it. However, I personally didn't think it brought anything to the application and should be replaced with something more conventional.
